Science Connects has been successful in the bid to run the STEMNET Contract, in the West of Scotland, for STEM Ambassadors for the period 2011-2015. This will enable us to develop and expand the STEM Ambassador programme, and to work towards ensuring all schools in our area can benefit from a STEM Ambassador experience. Launched with this new contract is the STEM Advisory Network which means we can continue to provide free impartial advice to schools on programmes, challenges, activities from STEM Providers, companies and organisations. Science Connects will continue providing impartial advice on a wide range of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) activities, helping schools to identify which opportunities can best inspire their young people in STEM.
